Meet Hana & Laith
Local Aunties was born from our love for Palestinian food and the feeling of home it brings.
We are Hana and Laith, a Palestinian couple building a new life in America while holding on to the traditions, flavors, and memories that have always connected us to home.
When we moved to America, we found ourselves missing the authentic Palestinian food we grew up with—the traditional dishes, the familiar aromas filling the kitchen, and the meals that bring family and friends together around one table.
For me, Hana, cooking has always been more than preparing food. It is a passion I inherited from my mother, who taught me that food is one of the most beautiful ways to express love, care, and hospitality. What began in my childhood kitchen in Palestine has stayed with me throughout my journey, and today, I carry those traditions into my second home here in America.
For Laith, food is also a world he knows well. With three years of experience working in pizzerias and restaurants, he brings valuable hands-on experience and a passion for the food industry to our journey together.

From our little kitchen, we decided to turn our love for food into something we could share with others. Together, we created Local Aunties, a family-owned business inspired by our Palestinian roots, our love of homemade meals, and our desire to bring people closer through food.
We have both completed ServSafe food safety training, reflecting our commitment to preparing and handling food responsibly. We believe that every meal should be made with care, served with love, and prepared with attention to quality and safety.
Through Local Aunties, we hope to bring a little taste of Palestine into your home. From traditional Palestinian dishes to the comforting flavors we grew up with, every order carries a piece of our story, our heritage, and the traditions we are proud to share.
